Ireland fans left unimpressed by prices of new 'hype' jersey
The new kit is now on sale through the FAI's shop.
The FAI has released a new Ireland jersey inspired by the 1994 World Cup, which was held 30 years ago but some fans are less than impressed by the price.
The predominantly white kit, entitled the 'Hype Shirt,' was released this morning. It is said to be inspired by USA '94.
The new jersey is not the only 1994 merchandise on sale; caps, T-shirts, crewneck jumpers, tracksuit bottoms, and jackets are also on sale.

Ireland Football posted on social media, "Relive the magic of World Cup '94 with the Ireland hype kit. Inspired by Ireland's historic 1-0 victory over Italy in New York, this jersey captures the spirit of that unforgettable moment. Wear a piece of Irish football history and celebrate the day the Boys in Green stunned the world on American soil."
The jerseys don't come cheap, however. Junior shirts start at €75, while men's and women's fits cost €95. The pro shirts cost €140.
Fans took to social media to vent their dismay at the price.
One fan said: "£127 for a long sleeve version of this top."
While another said: "Relive Ireland’s defining World Cup moment" by spending 95 quid on a 'hype shirt'
Another added, "€140 for a long sleeve, sorry, but you've priced me out, sadly. No way can I justify that."
Another said: "£120 for that?"
The Ireland footballers have two games this weekend, taking on Finland on Thursday at the Aviva Stadium and England on Sunday at Wembley Stadium.
