Irish commentator Jim Beglin has said he is taking a 'sabbatical' from social media following as he slammed trolls accusing him of bias.
Beglin is one of the most recognisable co-commentators in the game and has launched a highly successful career for himself in the industry post-playing days.
Now 61-years-old, Beglin played 15 times for Ireland and enjoyed spells with Shamrock Rovers, Liverpool, and Leeds.

In retirement, Beglin has become one of the most well-known commentators in the game, working for RTE, ITV, and BT Sport, among others.
The former defender took to social media to slam trolls who accused him and other commentators of bias.
Posting on X, he said: "To the ignoramuses (and that’s what you are) who continually accuse football commentators of bias, our job is to call games and not cheerlead your team. Taking a sabbatical from this cesspit."
Beglin also teased critics with his bio reading: "Apparently, I’m biased against all 20 Premier League clubs."
The Premier League racing is heating up despite being in the early stages, with Liverpool sitting at the top of the table under the new boss, Arne Slot.
The Anfield outfit sit five points clear of Manchester City with the champions losing consecutive matches.
