Hansen survives tricky Ireland review and comes out fighting for Argentina next week
"I think we didn’t click as well as we normally do by any means," said the winger of the disjointed performance.
Mack Hansen may have had an uncomfortable time under the spotlight at the Ireland-New Zealnd review yesterday.
For all his jack-rabbitt energy and continual attempts to open the game up there were two ugly turnovers and three unsightly missed tackles.
"I think we didn’t click as well as we normally do by any means," said the winger of the disjointed performance.

"It was a pretty poor, just wasn’t who we are or who we’ve come to be over the last three or four years. We’ve made the Aviva a fortress for sure and we haven’t really put out any bad performances out there.
New Zealand had played really well.
"You can’t take anything away from them. You could put it on the other hand and say they sort of made us play that way. I thought they were a little bit more strategic than normally.
"I think when you think of New Zealand teams they throw the ball around a lot, attack from anywhere and they’ve been the best at that for a good.
"While where I thought on the weekend they probably won the aerial battle against us and kicked a little bit better and strategically I thought they were pretty switched on."
Ireland expect to put in a much improved performance next Friday against Argentina.
"It was just a lot of unforced errors and stuff from us. It wasn’t like we were getting our roles wrong in moves, or things like that, it was just unforced errors and it was just a little bit sloppy, a little bit rusty from us.
"The style of footy we play is great to watch and it's great to be a part of and it’s been so good for so long, that week it just didn’t click for us unfortunately but nothing to say that it won’t pick up again this week.
"The loss doesn’t affect our confidence at all. You do look at it as a one-off in a way of going, we know that’s not us but also you’ve got to review it and realise why things went wrong.
"It’s not like we’ve gone, 'oh that’s not us, don’t worry about it, let’s move on to next week'.
"There’s a lot of hard chats, a lot of honest talks on why things went that way which we’ve had and its just making sure that doesn’t happen again now.
