Panenka attempt in Munster Junior Championship doesn't go according to plan
You don't seen many Panenka attempts in the GAA, and very few in the heat of championship battle. Maybe this is why.
This GAA Panenka didn't quite go according to plan.
It came from Kilmurry's Tomás Collins in yesterday's Munster Junior Championship at Cloughduv against Clare side Michael Cusacks.
The scores were tied at 1-8 apiece at the time, when the number six attempted to chip to the net, but the goalkeeper didn't move and his effort glanced off the cross bar and over the top for a point.
As he moved back out to his position it looked like Collins had to avoid a few opponents stepping across his tracks.

Collins had scored a penalty earlier, slamming to the net, but he tried something different here.
His miss didn't matter and his penalty goal was crucial as Kilmurry ran out 1-14 to 1-11 winners to set up a meeing with Cashal King Cormacs.
Liam Collins kicked 0-8, with 0-4 coming from play, for the winners from Muskerry, who trailed by six points at one stage in difficult conditions.
Kilmurry have lost two Munster finals in a row but are now just one win away from making it back to the final.
