Ireland star expresses disappointment over try that wasn't given at Croke Park
Munster and Ireland winger Calvin Nash thought he had scored his side's first try against Leinster but ref Chris Busby had other ideas, much to Reds skipper Tadhg Beirne's disbelief
Calvin Nash's disappointment as he left Croke Park was deepened by controversially having a try chalked off.
Reds skipper Tadhg Beirne argued that ref Chris Busby should have waited for the TMO to have a look at Alex Nankivell's pass to Nash - it looked flat rather than forward - but a frustrated Busby gave Beirne's arguments short shrift.
Munster did score their first five-pointer soon after through Sean O'Brien, only for RG Snyman to effectively end the contest with a bonus point try on the stroke of half-time.

Thus Nash and his head coach Graham Rowntree weren't dwelling on the issue. “I thought I’d scored, to be honest," said Nash. "When I saw that he said it was forward I couldn’t believe it, I thought it was definitely a try but look, it is what it is. Look, we’re past it now so can’t change it."
The Ireland winger looked sharp in coming in off his wing to score that disallowed effort, then made a good second half break but Leinster's suffocating defence quickly swallowed up the threat.
“I think we just need to be better there and see what Leinster are going to do," he said. "We probably need to scan a bit better and develop our understanding of what defences need to do and where they’re going to be weaker when we make those busts.
"More of a collective rather than some individuals, I suppose. Obviously we were all massively excited to come here, especially with the history and everything.
"We are just disappointed now, to be honest, leaving because we feel like the start of the game probably let us down a tiny bit and then chasing the game isn’t ideal.
“It was a massive occasion and obviously we talked about being massively privileged to be a part of it, but we’re disappointed that the result didn’t go our way.”
