Chris Eubank Jr hits out at Irish boxer years after Saudi Arabia fight
Eubank Jr faced the Mullingar man in the Middle East back in 2018
Chris Eubank Jr has shared a video from six years ago as he once again accused JJ McDonagh of quitting when the pair clashed in Saudi Arabia.
Eubank Jr faced the Mullingar man in the Middle East back in 2018, with McDonagh retiring on his stool at the end of the third round due to a shoulder injury.
However, the Englishman claimed McDonagh should have tried to fight on, leading to a coming together between the pair during their post-fight interview.

Eubank Jr said: "He says it's his right shoulder. I'm not convinced but it is what it is.
"This was my opportunity to shake off some ring rust, it was good while it lasted but the going was too tough for him and he quit. I was starting to land at will.
"I caught him early and usually would have gone into destroy mode but I wanted the rounds and to display some of my boxing skills. I wanted to show I could box."
McDonagh told how he had a shoulder injury ahead of the bout and was unable to spar in preparation for it, saying: "I had a bad shoulder injury, I took the fight and he is a great fighter. If I was able to fight on then I would. I had no sparring.
"I hurt my shoulder through the second, from then on he would have destroyed me, there’s no point taking a beating."
When Eubank Jr once again insisted as a fighter he should have carried on, McDonagh jumped in and said: "Don’t get arrogant, Let's have a straighter right now, I'll fight you with one hand you c***!"
Eubank Jr is back in Saudi Arabia this week to face Kamil Szeremeta on the Artur Beterbiev v Dmitry Bivol card. He hopes that a win against his Polish opponent will set him up for a big 2025.
