Miranda Hart's very private relationship with husband laid bare with huge clues about his identity
It was revealed this week that Miranda Hart had secretly tied the knot with her now-husband but his identity is unknown
Miranda Hart has finally opened up on her very private relationship with her now-husband as well as giving some hints about his identity.
During an appearance on The One Show this week, the TV star revealed that she had tied the knot with a building surveyor. Despite keeping his identity a secret, Miranda has talked about him in her new autobiography I Haven’t Been Entirely Honest With You.
She describes her man as "good looking" with salt and pepper hair and says that they met when he went to her London pad for a job. The pair first crossed paths during lockdown when he went to Miranda's home in London to sort out a mould problem.

Writing in her autobiography, the actress says: "He’s my husband. I met my best friend and the love of my life who brings me more silliness, laughter, joy, support, care and safety than I thought possible in a person, because I lost my house due to mould illness and he was the building surveyor on the house remediation project."
The mystery man proposed while they were on a walk in Kew Gardens. Miranda said when he popped the question, it made her "burst into tears because - hello?! He was asking me to marry him". Before becoming official, the pair enjoyed socially distanced dates in Miranda's living room as they got to know each other.
"The date therefore consisted of a cup of tea in my sitting room, with some social distancing in force, passing biscuits to each other at arm’s length," Miranda described.
In her book, Miranda explained her pet names for her husband evolved over the time that they have been an item. The MailOnline quotes her writing: "Yes my love was Mr Mould Man/ My Mr Mould Man/ The Boy/ The Boy from Bristol/ The Boyfriend. I haven't been entirely honest with you, he's not my boyfriend, he's my husband. We got married when I was 51."
Miranda has never shared a photo of her man but fans think he was unveiled last year after the comedian was seen on a bike ride last year. The pair were photographed last October on a ride on a towpath near Hammersmith Bridge. The two of them looked like they were enjoying each other's company and he was later spotted outside her home as well.
