Pregnant Margot Robbie's fans shocked as real age in Wolf of Wall Street uncovered
Margot Robbie played real life psychotherapist Naomi Lapaglia in the 2013 film The Wolf of Wall Street - but some fans are only now realising how young the pregnant actress was in the film
Fans of pregnant Margot Robbie have been left stunned after learning how old she was when she appeared in the Wolf of Wall Street.
The 34-year-old Australian actress - who is expecting her first child with British husband Tom Ackerley - played Naomi Lapaglia in the Martin Scorsese directed biographical black comedy film in 2013. Set in the 1980s and 1990s, the real Naomi would have been in her late 20s to late 30s over the years depicted in the film.
Many film fans assumed Margot would have been the same age but are only now realising she was just 22. Many have taken to social media to share their shock over the information, with one writing: "Robbie was actually just 22 at the time of filming."

Another was in such disbelief they questioned if the age was off by a decade, writing: "No way. 32...." And another wrote: "Holy s**t 22?" The Wolf of Wall Street also starred Leonardo DiCaprio as Jordan Belfort. The 49-year-old actor has been widely mocked for the fact he tends to dump girlfriends once they reach the age of 25.
One fan of the film joked: "Of course the co-star was 22 in a Leo movie." And another added: "3 more years and leo would not have thought about it."
Age has not been the only fact of Margot that has surprised film fans lately. The actress - who has also produced huge box office smash films including the Oscar nominated I, Tonya and billion dollar making Barbie - was spotted casually sitting on a train in the UK and eating a Pret sandwich.
In August, she was snapped on a train to Edinburgh sitting beside her husband and munching on an egg sandwich from the popular high street coffee shop. A fellow passenger subsequently told The Sun: "I don't think any other travellers recognised them. I pointed her and Tom out to my work colleagues, otherwise I think they wouldn't have been spotted and travelled to their final destination unnoticed. I was completely star-stuck."
They went on to remark the star was "absolutely stunning" and "my absolute biggest celebrity spot to date." Back in July, it was confirmed Margot and Tom are expecting their first baby together.
The former Neighbours star was snapped with a baby bump, and People magazine subsequently "confirmed" the news. In US Vogue’s June 2016 issue, Margot discussed her romance with Tom and how they first started dating.
She said: “I was the ultimate single gal. The idea of relationships made me want to vomit. And then this crept up on me. We were friends for so long. I was always in love with him, but I thought, Oh, he would never love me back. Don’t make it weird, Margot. Don’t be stupid and tell him that you like him. And then it happened, and I was like, Of course we’re together. This makes so much sense, the way nothing has ever made sense before."
