TV and radio star Lucy Kennedy has revealed she could be set to release her own book.
The children’s author was approached by publishers to find out if she would like to write her own adult fiction book, following the success of The Friendship Fairies series.
Lucy exclusively told us: “I’ve never been asked to ghost write but I have been approached by publishers to see would I be interested in writing an adult fiction book. It’s something I am currently deciding on. I love writing.”

The Living With Lucy star said writing during her downtime is her “yoga”, adding “It’s my therapy. I get completely lost when I write. My brain switches off.”
The Classic Hits host also revealed she and her co-host and former 2FM star Colm Hayes have been poached by rival radio stations. But the duo and long term best pals said they don’t want to be split up.
“Yeah. It is very much you want me, you have to hire him. Yes, we have. I can’t tell you who. But truthfully, we are happy in Classic Hits. It is nice to be in demand. But our boss knows we are happy where we are.”
Lucy previously told how motherhood will always be the hardest job. The Dubliner is mum-of-three to teenager Jack and two younger daughters named Holly and Jess. "I've said no to jobs that get in the way of school collection because I love it, " she told The Sunday World newspaper.
The Real Life With Lucy presenter is in sync with her kids when it comes to bedtimes too. "I am in sync with them, actually, and I love it. My favourite job will always be being a mom, as hard as it is at times."
But she told us her kids don’t care about what her job is and how their mum is one of the most recognisable faces in Ireland. She told us: “They have a very little interest in what I do. The only time they cared was Ireland’s Got Talent because of the judges.
“If you ask them what do I do, they’d say ‘telly, radio, nags, cleans.’ I don’t think they have any respect for my career,” she said laughing. But she added: “But they like the book.”
