Joe Jonas reveals the very awkward way he tried to have a drink with Noel Gallagher
Joe Jonas has opened up on the time he bought Noel Gallagher a drink in a crowded bar and revealed the Oasis rocker's reaction, and revealed the name of a British comic who bought him an odd shot
Joe Jonas has revealed he once bought Oasis rocker Noel Gallagher a pint and sent it to him from across a bar.
The American musician, 35, opened up on his pint buying habits to Capital Breakfast's Jordan North, Chris Stark and Sian Welby as he headed to a Devonshire pub.
Joined by his brothers and bandmates, Joe confessed he had sent a pint to Noel, 57, and told the bartender to tell the musician it was from "that Jonas B****". He was standing on the other side of the bar at the time and said the bartender did exactly what he did.

Noting how Noel gestured back to him, he claimed "that was all I needed". He also revealed it is actually Noel's brother Liam who would be the one celebrity he would love to have a drink with. When questioned by Jordan on his confession, he reiterated: "Why not? It would be amazing! He would refuse it but it would be amazing."
It isn't just the Gallagher brothers and Joe that had a drinking story, either. Nick revealed he was once given a beverage by Matt Lucas. However, it was non-alcoholic as he was still underage.
"Matt Lucas sent me a shot of water once," he confessed. Despite Sian labelling the story as "disappointed" brother Kevin insisted it was "memorable". Nick confirmed the reason for the water, adding: "I also wasn’t eighteen at that point I was only seventeen, so it was maybe more appropriate...I thought it would be a shot of something alcoholic but it was actually just a shot of water."
The confession comes as the brothers continue their UK and Ireland tour. Last month fans were left 'in tears' after they were convinced a new song hints at Sophie Turner's new relationship. Joe and Sophie split in September last year after four years of marriage. The pair share two children together, Willa, four, and Delphine, one.
In the latest song, Joe can be heard singing: "You got the right to take my heart, you got the right to break it apart, every night, I count my lucky stars, cuz you got the right, you got the right. You got the right to find someone new, you got the right to do what's right for you. For every night, I cry for you, cuz you got the right, you got the right, you got the right." And fans were quick to take to social media to make their thoughts known on the apparent meaning.
