The Barbie star, 34, reached an incredible milestone after being an ambassador for designer brand Chanel for over six years. She has worked with the fashion and makeup company since 2018 and became the face of Chanel Gabrielle perfume a year later. Margot is now the face of the French designer fashion house's best-known fragrance, Chanel N°5.
Speaking of her huge career move, Margot said: "I think Chanel N°5 is one of the most iconic fragrances in the world. It's incredible to be a part of it. There's such an impressive lineage of women who've been associated with the fragrance over the years. I am very honoured to be joining that long list of incredible talents."

Nicole Kidman fronted a campaign for the iconic fragrance back in 2004. Chanel N°5 'Le Film' was directed by Baz Luhrmann. Other stars to have become a face of the fragrance include actor Brad Pitt and French fashion icon Catherine Deneuve. "I've just always known about Chanel N°5... It's iconic and an iconic brand," Margot told WWD.
She added: "It's that thing that you always associate with absolute height of luxury. At least that's how I always felt about Chanel. Now I'm in the Chanel family; I associate with more personal memories and things that I've gotten to do." Margot's campaign will launch in October this year.
The Suicide Squad star is pregnant with her first child with husband Tom Ackerley. The couple first met in 2013 and married three years later. They are the co-producers on a number of projects including Hulu's Dollface, via their production company LuckyCap Entertainment.
While working on Suite Francaise in 2013, the pair first locked eyes when Tom worked as an Assistant Director as Margot was on set as an actress. Speaking of their relationship, she previously told People magazine: "I was the ultimate single gal.
"The idea of relationships made me want to vomit. And then this crept up on me. We were friends for so long. I was always in love with him, but I thought, 'Oh, he would never love me back. Don't make it weird, Margot'."
According to reports, the pair have "wanted to start a family for quite some time ". The couple were pictured on holiday in Lake Como, Italy back in July where Margot displayed her bump in a white crop top with a blazer draped over her shoulders.
"At the time a source told People: "Family means a lot to both of them and they knew early on in their relationship being parents was something they really wanted They've been keeping it under wraps for a while but are happy the news is out."
