Pat O'Donnell was overcome with emotion after winning at York.
Irish trainer Pat O'Donnell gave a brilliant interview to ITV after winning big at York this afternoon.
The Irishman was overcome with emotion after witnessing Joey Sheridan guide 14/1 shot Extensio over Gordon Elliot's Samui.
The win netted O'Donnell a staggering £51,540 and when asked by ITV after the race to explain how he felt, an emotional O'Donnell heaped praise upon his stable star.

“Professionally Ollie, it means a massive amount to me because I live and breathe this game," said O'Donnell.
"I was speaking earlier to someone and I was saying that, you know, [with] handicappers, there’s so many variables. If you had graded horses it would be easier do you understand because they are as good as they are. So, like, I’d like to give myself a little bit of praise.
“This is the lucky one. Most equestrians get [one] in their life, and this is our one.
