Coronation Street star Kym Marsh has found love again with her 29-year-old co-star after announcing split from her third husband last year
Kym Marsh, 48, has moved on from her third marriage with her 29-year-old co-star.
The Coronation Street actress has branded her new 29-year-old boyfriend her "soulmate" after announcing the end of her marriage to her third husband last year. Kym and her new boyfriend, Samuel Thomas, met while working together on 101 Dalmatians: The Musical, which began its UK tour on June 22. It comes to Dublin's Gaiety Theatre for a string of shows in September.
Kym took to Instagram to share a picture with her new beau – who was born the same year as her son David. The soap actress and Morning Live presenter posted a picture of her kissing her actor boyfriend.
She wrote: "Met the most amazing man ever! Sometimes the most unexpected things happen at the most unexpected times. @samuelthomasuk I love you #beautiful #soulmate #loveyou."

Samuel replied by sharing a sweet picture of the couple embracing. He captioned the post: "I didn’t expect you, but here you are. I love you." Kym replied: "Ditto. The best things happen unexpectedly. Love you too."
After sharing the sweet picture, Samuel appeared to take aim at those who may be critical of his new relationship. On his Instagram Story, he wrote: "Opinions are like a******s....everyone's got one, but they're still a*******s."
Kym was previously married to Jack Ryder from 2002 to 2009 and they share two children together – David, 29, and Emilie, 27. The actress was also married to Hollyoaks star Jamie Lomas, 48, from 2012 to 2014.
The couple share daughter, Polly, 13, and their son, Archie, tragically died at just 21 weeks following a premature birth in February 2009. Kym remarried for a third time to Scott Ratcliff in 2021.
Kym and Scott split 13 months after their wedding with a source revealing that work kept them apart. A source told The Sun : "They both really tried to make it work, but the cracks have been there for a while and they were only getting to see each other for one or two days a week at the very most.
"Kym's been so busy, and last year (being on Strictly Come Dancing ) meant even her weekends were stacked up along with weekdays rehearsing, more recently she's been filming all over the place and rehearsing for a new theatre run."
The Coronation Street star is currently starring as Cruella de Vil in the 101 Dalmatians musical. Kym's new beau Samuel stars as Tom Dearly in the production.
Speaking about the role, Kym previously said: "I’m over the moon to be joining the cast of 101 Dalmatians playing the iconic Cruella De Vil, has there ever been a more fabulous baddie?!'
She continued: "Obviously she’s a million miles away from me in real life - and my dogs are very glad about that - but being able to bring to life my take on this renowned character is a real treat.
"Douglas [Hodge] and Johnny [McKnight] have written this brilliant new musical filled with songs I’m already finding myself humming under my breath. The 101 Dalmatians story spans generations and I'm sure young and old alike will absolutely love this production."
