Arthur Gourounlian and Brian Dowling 'blessed' as celeb chef Donal Skehan becomes godfather to baby
Celeb couple Brian Dowling and Arthur Gourounlian shared the news that a famous face has become the godfather for the newest addition to the family
Brian Dowling and Arthur Gourounlian have revealed who will serve as godparents to their recent little addition to the family, sharing they are “blessed” with the bundle of joy.
The celeb power couple, who host the Six O’Clock Show and judge Dancing With The Stars respectively, welcomed their second child Blu into the world on June 23, and have announced that celeb chef Donal Skehan would be Blu’s godfather.
The pair also decided that Brian’s sister Aoife, who acted as a surrogate for the couple for a second time, would be the best person to be Blu’s godmother, RSVP Live reports.

Sharing the exciting announcement on social media, Brian Dowling said: “The votes have been counted and verified by an independent adjudicator.
“Arthur Gourounlian and I are absolutely delighted that Aoifehas said yes to being Blu’s Godmother and Donal Skehan has agreed to take on the role of Godfather.”
"We adore both Aoife and Donal. They will make a fabulous pair of Godparents and provide Blu with so much love, support & of course, a little bit of spoiling. In fact, they will give Pippa O'Connor and Simon Jones a run for their money in the Godparents department."
In 2022, when the couple’s first child Blake was born, the pair opted for Irish influencer Pippa O’Connor alongside PR worker Simon Jones as the child’s godparents.
Continuing in the post, Brian wrote: "Arthur and I are truly blessed when it comes to the Godparents we have for both our daughters but also the love & encouragement we receive from all our family and friends is priceless. It really does take a village, people."
