Taylor Swift's boyfriend Travis Kelce got his hands on an Ireland rugby jersey and chatted GAA after his recent visit to Ireland.

The Kansas City Chief star briefly visited Ireland as he watched Taylor Swift's sold-out Aviva Stadium concert on Sunday and made sure to don the Irish colours as he recorded the latest episode of his podcast with brother Jason.

But Travis admitted he wasn't entirely sure what jersey he was wearing.

Talking about his jersey, he said: “I believe it is the Irish national team. It might be rugby or is it football.”

Asked by Jason if he saw GAA being played, Travis said: "No I haven’t”, as Jason revealed: “It’s an electric sport to watch”.

Travis opened up about his time in Dublin with Taylor, where they partied in The Hacienda Bar in Dublin with Stevie Nicks and Paramore, who supported Taylor.

He said: “I’m not in Ireland but I was there and got to go to a pub and have some Guinness....”

“We played some snooker… it was fun. Leave it at that. It was an absolute blast. Got to hang out in a pub, have some Guinness on draft over there basically just beer milkshakes.. delicious. And I had my new favourite dessert shot, which is a Baby Guinness. I call it a dessert shot because it was literally, I think Baileys, Guinness and like maybe a whiskey in there… It’s like a little shooter… it’s like ‘’hm that’s delicious’.

"Ireland was fun. It was a good time. I tell you what, once you get off the plane, they have the thickest f***ing accents I’ve ever heard in my life.”

Girlfriend Taylor played three sold out shows in Dublin last weekend as part of her Eras Tour. Kelce will be back in Kansas City for Training Camp on July 26.
