Jude Bellingham's overhead kick 85 seconds from full-time salvaged extra-time for England before Harry Kane's header downed Slovakia and helped Gareth Southgate's side progress to the quarter-finals of Euro 2024.

For 94 minutes, England looked devoid of ideas and creativity, so much so that England fans in attendance at the game booed their own team at times as they moved the ball lifelessly across the pitch.

Bellingham's last-gasp leveller brought the English fans to their feet in Gelsenkirchen before Kane's winner inside a minute of extra-time induced utter bedlam. England clung on for the 2-1 win, but it was far from comfortable.

The equaliser did the same for members of the ITV studio, with a clip surfacing on social media showing Gary Neville and Ian Wright passionately celebrating the Real Madrid star's wonder-goal.

While everyone in the studio celebrated wildly, Roy Keane took a different approach. The Irishman turned away from the screen and strolled off to a private corner while his colleagues roared with delight.

Eagle-eyed viewers thoroughly enjoyed Keane's reaction to the goal and took to social media to comment on Keane's calm demeanour:

"Roy is always so disinterested."

"Roy Keane looked happy."

"In this, I’m Roy Keane."

Despite the delight at victory, Gary Neville and Wright both admitted that England need to improve big time if they are to get past Switzerland in the quarter-final of the competition.
