Ian Garry's son has left UFC legend Daniel Cormier in stitches with a string of impressions of famous MMA fighters including Conor McGregor.

Leandro, who was born to Garry and his wife Layla in November 2022, can be seen in a video uploaded to social media by the Irish Welterweight contender standing on a table surrounded by Cormier and UFC commentator Jon Anik.

In the video, 14-0 Garry playfully asks his son to do his Conor McGregor impression. In response, young Leandro sways his arms in a manner very similar to McGregor's exaggerated 'billionaire strut.'

The youngster is then asked to do his impression of Max Holloway and does so by pointing to the ground and swinging his fists as is Holloway's iconic moves.

Both impersonations drew laughter from those in the room with Cormier in particular thoroughly enjoying the young man's acting skills.

Unfortunately for Garry - who takes on Michael Venom Page in Las Vegas this weekend - his son's imitation is the closest he will get to being alongside McGregor this week after the former two-weight champion withdrew from UFC 303 with a broken toe injury.

Garry had been dreaming of fighting alongside his hero and is hugely disappointed at not being able to do so this weekend.

"Ah don't mention it to me. How could I not be disappointed? From the point of view of being a fan of his and everything that he has done," said Garry, who takes on Michael Venom Page in a welterweight clash in Las Vegas on Saturday night.

"I feel like people still don't understand how big and how powerful Conor was to the Irish and how much we really got behind him. To the point where I am now representing the green, white and orange.

"I was excited more than ever to represent my country because I was going to be fighting side by side with him. Obviously I'm still flying the flag every time I fight, but it would have been that much sweeter to share the same card as him. I wish him a healthy, speedy recovery and I hope to see him back in there soon.

"Other than Conor, I can say that there is no-one more p***** off than me that he isn't fighting."

McGregor has faced criticism from fellow fighters and trolls online for pulling out of the bout due to a broken pinky toe, with former foe Rafael Dos Anjos particularly vocal as McGregor once slammed him for pulling out of a scheduled fight between the pair in 2016.

In Garry's eyes, only McGregor knows how his body feels and nobody has the right to tell him whether he should have fought or not.

"I think I can say this from my point of view of what Conor's personality is like we're very similar.

"I don't think he gives a f*** about what people's criticism is. I don't think he cares.

"Is he upset? I believe absolutely he's upset. I believe he wanted this fight and when you get injured as a fighter and you can't do what you've been working towards doing, it is going to boil your blood.

"The last thing you want to hear is f****** John, Paul or Harry saying 'you shouldn't have pulled out.'

"Who the f*** is anyone on this planet to tell that man what to do? Stay in your lane."
