Old rivals Dublin and Mayo clash again this afternoon in the All-Ireland SFC as they battle it out for the top spot in Group 2 and a place in the quarter-finals.

These sides have waged many wars in recent years, although this may not necessarily be the fiercest one as they are both guaranteed spots in the knockout stages.

After claiming their 14th consecutive Leinster title last month, Dublin have gone on to win their first two group games of the All-Ireland series against Roscommon and Cavan.

Mayo, who lost out in the Connacht final to Galway by a point, have also won their first two group games.

The loss of Paddy Durcan is a big one for Mayo, while Dublin's next generation of stars have been finding their feet this season.

The match is scheduled for a 3.45pm throw-in at Dr Hyde Park in Roscommon and will be shown live on RTE 2 and on the RTE Player.

The loss of Paddy Durcan is a big one for Mayo, but they are too have many experienced players to call upon at this level. With both O'Donoghue and Cillian O'Connor named to start, it will be interesting to see who takes free-kick responsibilities.

MAYO: C Reape; J Coyne, D McBrien, D McHugh; S Callinan, S Coen, E McLaughlin; J Carney, M Ruane; T Conroy, D McHale, J Flynn; A O’Shea, C O’Connor, R O’Donoghue
