Over half of punters are backing Conor McGregor to win during his UFC return next month when he takes on Michael Chandler. The Dubliner returns to action at the end of June in Las Vegas.

And fans have flocked to place a bet on the former two-weight UFC Champion with over half of gamblers backing the notorious to get back to winning ways. Oddschecker has released data that 55.56% of bets on the fight are backing McGregor.

Conversely, 44.44% of punters are backing Michael Chandler to win the fight. The American has lost three of his five fights since entering the UFC in 2021 while McGregor is on a two-fight losing streak.

The bout will take place at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas on June 29 and is scheduled for five rounds at welterweight and Chandler believes his fight with Conor McGregor at UFC 303 on June 29th could be the last time the Irishman competes in the Octagon.

“You have to buy this PPV…” Chandler told fans in an interview with New York Post Sports. “because this could be the last time that you ever see Conor McGregor fight.

“I truly believe that what I’m going to do to him on June 29th is going to warrant and merit him never stepping back into the Octagon. With that being said, Conor might be able to pull off the greatest comeback in combat sports history.” Chandler added.

“There’s a chance that we see the greatest comeback in combat sports history. (I’m) arguably the most exciting guy to ever set foot in the UFC Octagon.

“What I have made in my masterpiece that I’ve been painting in the last couple of years with the UFC, it is two of the most explosive and exciting guys, two of the most intriguing guys, and possibly the greatest comeback in combat sports history, or Conor McGregor’s last fight in MMA.” Chandler claimed.
