Kerry Katona has revealed that she's once again going under the knife for a nose job, and in order to do so, she's getting part of her rib removed.

The former Atomic Kitten singer, 43, has never been one to shy away from cosmetic surgeries, and her latest one will mean she'll be in recovery for quite a while. The mum-of-five previously confessed that she needed an eight-hour nose operation to repair extensive damage caused by years of using cocaine.

In her latest column, Kerry confessed that her next surgery will be a big one. The TV star said: "I'm waiting for a date from Pall Mall for the reconstructive surgery I need for my nose, due to past cocaine abuse in my 20s. They're going to use a piece of bone from my rib to repair it. Hopefully, that will be any day now."

Taking to Instagram on Tuesday, Kerry revealed she was having her nose job done as she detailed how the gruesome and gruelling procedure works. Kerry told her followers that her cosmetic surgeon would be "taking a piece of bone from her rib".

The mum-of-five said that it would be used to replace her nose cartilage "to make it look a bit smaller". Kerry then revealed there are "three holes" in her nose, following drug use in her past, which will be filled during the surgery.

It comes after Kerry recently opened up about her weight loss journey, revealing that she now feels "more confident" in herself after previously not wanting to leave the house. Kerry has shared updates with fans in recent months about her experience. She's said to have lost more than three stone last year and has continued to document her experience in the time since.

She has recently spoken about the impact of her weight loss, discussing it in her latest column for OK! magazine. Kerry - who earlier this year shared that she used to weigh just over 13 stone - provided the update recently. Kerry said in her column: "I'm down to 9st 5 and I'm feeling amazing, none of my clothes even fit me anymore! So, I've got my stylist coming this week to help me have a bit of a wardrobe revamp, which I'm looking forward to."

The formerCelebrity Big Brotherhousemate added that she wants to sort out her clothes before moving house later this year. She said: "I want to have my wardrobe sorted out before we move house in June so that it's a fresh start, even though we're staying in the same area.

"Losing weight has made me so much more confident in my outfits. I still love a tracksuit, don't get me wrong, but I never used to want to go out or leave the house and now I love it."

Kerry is said to have gone from a size 16 to a size eight last year and is now reportedly a size six. She previously said: "I was just in this rut of self-loathing and emotional eating. Something needed to change for me to feel better within myself. It was all about how I felt in my head."

The reality TV star, who's engaged to fitness coach Ryan Mahoney, revealed that she's been eating healthier, exercising more and using her own fitness platform, MFIT workouts. She said: "I've been calorie counting, exercising and doing MFIT workouts, which is mine and Ryan's fitness platform."

Admitting she wasn't making good use of it initially, she added: "It was always right at my fingertips, but I just wasn't using it as I should have. Now, I've really been sticking to it and have been doing some weight training too. I do yoga every morning and just 12 minutes a day makes such a difference."
