The rehearsals are over - it's about to get serious for Eurovision hopeful Bambie Thug.

Unheard of just a few months ago, Bambie has been making headlines since being selected to represent Ireland in Malmo, Sweden.

The song, Doomsday Blue, is certainly attention grabbing too - and is about to be unleased on a worldwide audience.

The show starts at 8pm Irish time, live from Malmo Arena. Hosted by Petra Mede and Malin Akerman, Bambi will go up against representatives from 14 other countries - including the UK - but only 10 from the 15 competitors will qualify for the grand final.

Bambie Thug has told of their pride at representing their country on a global stage

"I'm so proud and so excited to represent Ireland tonight," they said.
Bambie previously blamed songs from Ireland for not "standing out" in the competition for the failure.
