Manchester City maintained their push for a fourth Premier League title in a row with a 5-1 at home to Wolves on Saturday evening.

Arsenal had moved four points ahead of Pep Guardiola’s side in the table with a 3-0 victory against Southampton in the early kick-off.

However, the Citizens responded with an emphatic win at the Etihad and could move ahead of Mikel Arteta’s side if they win their game in hand over the Gunners.

Erling Haaland scored four goals along with another from Julian Alvarez to keep City one point behind the leaders.

Haaland was asked about what he made of Roy Keane just weeks after the Irishman compared him to a “League Two” player.

When asked about Keane by Norwegian broadcaster Viaplay, Haaland responded: "I don't really care that much about that man, so that's all right.”

Keane had been critical of last year’s top goalscorer in the Premier League after City’s 0-0 draw with Arsenal at the end of March.

“The level of his general play is so poor – and not just today; his laying stuff off, headers or whatever it might be," he said on Sky Sports.

“In front of goal, he’s the best in the world, but his general play for such a player – it is so poor. Not just today. He has to improve that.

“He’s almost like a League Two player – that’s the way I look at him. His general play has to improve. It will do over the next few years. [He’s a] brilliant striker but he has to prove his overall game. Has to.”
