Man appears in court after recovery of pipe bomb in Finglas
A man in his 40s was apprehended by gardaí on anti-crime patrol in the Finglas areas
A man has been charged in connection with the discovery of a pipe bomb by gardaí earlier this week.
On Tuesday, April 30, officers attached to the Finglas Station in Dublin were conducting anti-crime patrols in the Finglas area in the early hours of the morning.
A man in his 40s was apprehended by the officers on patrol and a suspected pipe bomb was subsequently recovered.

The man was detained under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act, 1984, at a Garda Station in the Dublin Region and has since been charged in connection with the case.
He appeared before a sitting of Blanchardstown District Court on Thursday morning.
