Manchester United boss Erik ten Hag believes his team are one of the most "entertaining" teams in the Premier League, despite struggling to win matches.

United were held to a 1-1 draw against Burnley on Saturday. Zeki Amdouni equalised from the penalty spot late on after Antony had put the Red Devils ahead.

The result means United have won just one game inside 90 minutes since the middle of March and have taken just seven points from their last six league matches. Despite this, there have been 38 goals from their last six top-flight matches - and that doesn't include the 3-3 draw against Coventry last weekend.

"We are one of the most dynamic and entertaining teams in the league at this moment," Ten Hag told BBC Match of the Day. We are creating loads of chances by playing good football. Every team gives up opportunities. But when it is up to us, it is weird."

United created plenty of opportunities against Burnley, but a mixture of poor finishing and good goalkeeping prevented them from scoring more. At the other end, the Clarets may have found themselves unfortunate not to score more, too, with Andre Onana making a few excellent saves throughout.

Delivering his assessment on the game, Ten Hag told Sky Sports: "Strong start to the game. Loads of chances then we lost in control in second part of first half. Burnley came back in the game and had some chances.

"Second half was all ours and we are in a winning position and we give the game away at the end. Very frustrated, shouldn't happen. You put yourself in difficult positions. Over many phases of the game we did very good so at the end we have to take the three points and the clean sheet. We gave it away again at the end.

"We put ourselves in a winning position by playing some good football - creating loads of chances and then to give it away in the end in the final minutes it's so unnecessary."

United sit sixth in the Premier League table, one point ahead of Newcastle in the race for the Europa League. The Red Devils have four more matches remaining before the end of the campaign, and face Crystal Palace in their next outing on Monday, May 6.

On the battle for Europe, Ten Hag added: "I never give negative scenarios. We have two opportunities, one in the Premier League and the other one is we have the FA Cup final.

"The facts are we can't get fourth position when we're so far behind. Conceding penalties, very debatable, against Chelsea, Liverpool and today again, that is seven points. It's too much, especially at this stage of the season."
