'Change your f***ing attitude' - school staff member suspended after swearing at student in video

A member of staff at a school in the North of Ireland has been suspended after they allegedly swore at a student in a video that has been shared countless times on social media.
The video appears to show a suspected member of staff at a school in west Belfast allegedly telling a student to "change his f***ing attitude' before instructing the same student to complete 10 push-ups.
The video, taken at St Mary’s Christian Brothers Grammar School, has been shared widely on social media.

A spokesperson for the school told Belfast Live that an investigation into the alleged incident was underway and confirmed a member of staff had been suspended.
“As soon as we became aware of this incident, we immediately commenced an investigation,” said a spokesperson for the school.
The spokesperson added: "A member of staff has been suspended while the investigation is ongoing and we are providing support to the pupil involved.
“The care and well-being of all our students is our priority and this isolated incident does not reflect the standards and ethos within our school.”
