Speaking on his popular podcast, Joe Rogan teased McGregor's latest comments.
Joe Rogan has told Conor McGregor to 'shut the f*** up' after the UFC star's 'crazy' comments, saying acting is more difficult than MMA.
McGregor's press duties have finally drawn to a close after promoting Road House, with the Dubliner playing a starring role alongside Jake Gyllenhaal in the action flick.
And while on the press tour, McGregor told reporters that acting was more difficult than fighting, a comment Rogan took issue with.
Speaking on his podcast The Joe Rogan Experience, he said: "Listen to me, that's not true. That’s not true even for him, okay. Act in Road House or fight Khabib again, shut the f*** up. That’s crazy talk
"He broke his f***** leg in a fight, he broke his leg, that’s harder."
McGregor has claimed he is the highest paid first-time actor in the history of movies, after appearing in the blockbuster film and it is thought that he earned north of €5m for his role in the movie.
McGregor spoke of the difficulty of transitioning into acting, saying that he is a 'white belt'.
Speaking to the media ahead of the release of the movie, he said: "I am a white belt in this and I am here to learn."
McGregor was in good company for his acting debut with the movie directed by Doug Liman, a renowned Hollywood filmmaker who has worked in a number of blockbusters alongside Tom Cruise.
Jake Gyllenhaal earned praise for his role as star of the movie as he continued his epic catalogue of films.
Unfortunately for film fans, Road House is not available to view in theatres and was sent directly to Amazon Prime.
Speaking of the decision, McGregor said: "[The film] is going to streaming but it deserves cinema. I think we all know that. It seems to be because of the business aspect of it.
"I don't have Amazon Prime personally. You have to get it in the U.S. it is related to when you're ordering stuff and what's not. In Ireland and the UK in my awareness you don't so I don't have a subscription.
"From a business standpoint, it's going to boost subscriptions majorly so I do understand that but I understand the business and I feel it will come back to cinema. After the launch, maybe six months down the line or a year it's going to come back. It's one of those movies that you will watch it multiple times. This will be a real cult movie.
"I can see them, for sure, going back to the cinema."
