National Economy Minister Márton Nagy said 2025 was the year of families and businesses.
National Economy Minister Márton Nagy said 2025 was the year of families and businesses in a video message posted on Facebook on Thursday.
Nagy said the government would work in 2025 to see that every family and every business could take another step forward and pointed to the government’s new economic policy action plan, a package of 21 measures that aimed to boost incomes, ensure affordable housing for young Hungarians and scale up SMEs. That plan will make HUF 4,000bn of resources available to families and businesses, including a doubled tax allowance for families raising children, subsidised credit for young blue-collar workers, support for home renovation and funding for corporate investments, he added. Nagy said big investments to finish soon, such as plants of BMW, CATL and BYD, would also support the economy’s performance. He wished families and businesses a peaceful and successful New Year.
