The governing parties continue to have the highest public support according to the November party preference polls conducted by Századvég, the research institute reported on its website.
According to the research data, if a parliamentary election were held this Sunday, 38 percent of the politically active Hungarian population (those who are either certain or likely to vote) would vote for the Fidesz-KDNP party alliance.

In the ranking of parties, the Respect and Freedom Party (Tisztelet és Szabadság Párt / TISZA) is in second place with 32 percent, followed by the Hungarian Two-Tailed Dog Party (Magyar Kétfarkú Kutya Párt / MKKP) with 9 percent. 6 percent would vote for the Our Homeland Movement (Mi Hazánk Mozgalom) and 5 percent for the Democratic Coalition (Demokratikus Koalíció / DK). The Momentum and the Hungrian Socialist Party (Magyar Szocialista Párt / MSZP) are currently below the 5 percent threshold. Other parties would be supported by 1 percent of the politically active population, while the share of undecideds or abstainers would be 6 percent.
In terms of the preferences of active party voters, Fidesz-KDNP currently stands at 40 percent and TISZA Party at 35 percent.
The MKKP would be voted for by 9 percent of the politically active population, while the Our Homeland would reach 7 percent and the DK 5 percent. The Momentum’s support would be 2 percent on this basis, while only 1 percent would vote for MSZP and other parties.
