Serbian national carrier Air Serbia is commencing a thrice-weekly service between Belgrade and Helsinki in June.
This will be the first year-round direct flight between the two cities. The 2.5-hour flight will operate on Monday and Saturday mornings, and Thursday afternoons.
“The new link will provide business and leisure travellers with convenient travel opportunities between the two capital cities and also provides a seamless onward connection through Belgrade to major destinations in Southeast Europe, the Mediterranean and others among Air Serbia’s 49 destinations,” said Duncan Naysmith, CEO of Air Serbia.
The Serbian airline is part of the Etihad Airways Alliance.
