5,000-year-old discovery in Falster throws new light on Stone Age life
During an excavation for the electrification of a railway in the hilly landscape near Eskilstrup, Falster, workers discovered a 5,000-year-old ‘basement’ with a stone floor and supported walls.Researchers assessed that the ancient underground chamber
