A 31-year-old man has been arrested by police following the discovery of drugs and a substantial amount of cash in his possession.

According to police, members of the drug squad Ykan conducted a search on Sunday at the man’s residence in Limassol, during which they found approximately 63 grammes of cannabis and 2.5 grammes of cocaine.

Additionally, €13,600 in cash was discovered and confiscated as part of investigations into the origin of the funds.

The suspect was taken into custody and is being investigated for possession of drugs with intent to supply, as well as for money laundering.
