Cyprus construction prices up 0.44 per cent in November

The Construction Material Price Index in Cyprus reached 117.26 points in November 2024, with 2021 acting as the base year set at 100 points.
This reflects a slight monthly increase of 0.07 per cent, the Cyprus Statistical Service reported this week.
What is more, when compared to November 2023, the index recorded a 0.44 per cent rise.
Among the main product categories, notable increases were observed in electromechanical items (3.29 per cent), wood products, insulating materials, chemicals, and plastics (1.22 per cent), minerals (0.58 per cent), and mineral products (0.47 per cent).
However, a decline of 1.31 per cent was reported in metal products.
For the period from January to November 2024, the index showed a decrease of 0.88 per cent compared to the same period in 2023.
