Police on Monday arrested a woman for theft and resale of holiday packages from a travel agency in Nicosia.

The 38-year-old was taken into custody under a warrant after police received a complaint by the owner of the travel agency.

The owner alleged that between June and July the suspect purchased travel packages from his office, which she resold to customers, paying the agency nominal fees.

The case is under ongoing investigation by Nicosia CID.
