A lasting settlement of the conflict will require dialogue between all parties, reads the final communiqué signed by 80 countries at the Summit on Peace in Ukraine held in Switzerland. The document, supported by the majority of participants, calls for access to ports in the Black Sea and the Sea of Azov, crucial for global food supplies. The countries that supported the declaration commit to "the territorial integrity of all states, including Ukraine" and insist that Ukraine should have full control over the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant.
After the Ukraine Peace Summit, caretaker Premier Dimitar Glavchev is traveling to Brussels. On June 17, he will participate in the informal meeting of EU leaders, where institutional issues following the European Parliament elections on June 9 will be discussed.
