The NATO summit in London is an opportunity for Bulgaria to establish itself as a factor of stability in the Balkans and to uphold its national interest, said President Rumen Radev. We must not miss the historic opportunity to protect the airspace of North Macedonia, the Bulgarian head of state emphasized. While talks on this issue have been delayed by the Bulgarian side until the acquisition of new aircraft, Greece has concluded an agreement on the mission. With our current capacity, we can fulfill the task to the full, explained Radev, who is also a reserve general in the Bulgarian military aviation. A trilateral Bulgarian - North Macedonian - Greek meeting on the topic has already been arranged, the president added.
