Confindustria says economy dipping, RTT -3.4% in November

The real-time growth index of the
Italian economy RTT detected by the Confindustria research
center recorded a "significant decline" in November 2024,
dipping by 3.4%, the industrial employers federation said
Friday.

   
The indicator showed the greatest reductions in services and
industry, while construction continued to grow moderately.

   
The decline in industry, -5.1% in November, "almost entirely
cancels out the increase of the previous month", Confindustria
said.

   
However, for the fourth quarter the index "suggests a positive
trend (+2.1% acquired) after the decline recorded in the third
(-1.3%)".

   
The 'Real Time Turnover Index' of the economists of via
dell'Astronomia records monthly the dynamics of the volume of
activity based on the turnover detected on the sample of client
companies of TeamSystem.
