AD FEATURE: Glory Days: Tommy Dowd and Keith Barr relive some of their greatest GAA moments

While modern GAA brings us classic moments on a yearly basis, the 1980s and 90s hold a special place in many fans' hearts as a time when epic inter-county rivalries made it one of the most competitive periods in the sport's history.

We've teamed up with UPMC Orthopaedic Care to bring some of the era's legendary players back to Croke Park to relive some of their most memorable moments on and off the pitch.

In this video, Tommy Dowd, 4-time GAA All-Star who captained Meath to All-Ireland victory over Mayo in 1996, is joined by Keith Barr, 2-time All-Star and a key member of 1995's All-Ireland winning Dublin team.

These two went head to head in 1991’s infamous 4-game Leinster final saga, so there's plenty of history between them!

As well as the thrill of All-Ireland glory, both players were on the receiving end of some nasty knocks, some of which still affect them to this day.
