eDea electronic registration system successfully launched

The education ministry announced on Thursday that the electronic administration system eDea has been successfully implemented, with a significant number of parents and guardians already using it to register their children.

The ministry had introduced the eDea system in December as part of a digital upgrade to streamline registrations for educational programmes.

Primary school administrators and secretarial staff were provided with detailed instructions on managing the digital registration process through official circulars. Specific staff members were assigned to handle student registrations electronically.

The ministry emphasised that any failure by school staff to complete the electronic registration process correctly would be treated as a disciplinary offence and expressed confidence that the process would proceed smoothly.
