Steven Gerrard's daughter makes 'mama and papa' joke after announcing pregnancy with Liam Byrne's son


Steven Gerrard's daughter has shared a picture of 'papa' and 'mama' mugs on social media after announcing her pregnancy news. The 20-year-old announced over the weekend that she and Lee Byrne, the son of Kinahan mobster Liam Byrne, were expecting their first child.



Lee, who has no involvement in crime, has been in a relationship with Lilly-Ella since October 2022.



Lilly-Ella Gerrard shared a photo of two baby scans, two positive pregnancy tests, a pair of baby shoes and a pregnancy journal as she revealed the news. She wrote: "Our little secret, the best news, mini us is on the way @leebyrne8".

Liverpool legend Gerrard congratulated his daughter by commenting on the post: "We cant wait great news and congratulations we love you."



Lilly's mother Alex was also among the well-wishers. She responded "Can't wait" alongside four red love hearts. And Lilly's siblings Lourdes and Lexie sent their own messages of support. Lexie replied "Can't wait to be a auntie" and Lourdes added "SO EXITEDDDD".



Lilly shared a picture to her Instagram story of two mugs with 'papa' and 'mama' written on them. Two laughing emojis were used to caption the photo, reports The Liverpool Echo.



Due to Gerrard's role as manager of Al-Ettifaq in Saudi Arabia, the family are currently based in Bahrain where they are said to live in a luxury village. Their home, which costs about £10,000 per month, boasts a swimming pool and games room, and is situated near members of the Bahraini Royal family.

The Red regularly shares updates from his happy family life on social media and took to social media last February to mark Lilly's birthday. He said: "Happy birthday @lilly.gerrardd I hope your day is special like you are to me. 20!."



Ex-Liverpool captain Steven Gerrard signed a two-year contract extension with Saudi Pro League side Al-Ettifaq, keeping him at the club until 2027. Gerrard's current season has been a struggle, sparking rumours about his future in the Middle East.
