Legoland offers three ways to stay at Windsor resort - ideal for 2025 family holidays
If you’re worried about coming down with a case of the January blues, you may be already thinking about booking in some vacation time. But if you’re stuck for ideas for somewhere the whole family can enjoy, it’s worth taking a look at LEGOLAND’s resort and theme park.
Over at the beloved toy brand’s Windsor, England resort, there are now three ways to stay in a choice of LEGO-themed hotels, each with its own unique themes and a host of benefits included at no extra cost. LEGOLAND Windsor is situated less than 10 miles from London Heathrow airport and now includes a choice of three hotels located on-site.
Booking an overnight stay at a LEGOLAND Windsor Hotel includes one-day entry to the LEGOLAND Windsor Theme Park, which boasts more than 55 rides and attractions, including the new Minifigure Speedway and LEGO Ferrari Build and Race Experience.

LEGOLAND Windsor boasts three immersive resort hotels, each promising a unique stay in rooms designed especially for kids. They offer interactive features such as a treasure hunt to find a free LEGO gift, as well as a separate children’s sleeping area. At the moment, visitors to Legoland who book for two nights or more receive a 20% discount on their Bed and Breakfast.
There’s the LEGOLAND Resort Hotel, which features a range of themed rooms from pirate, adventurer or NINJAGO. Over at the LEGOLAND Castle Hotel, there’s a range of rooms ideal for young knights and wizards in training.

The latest addition to the site is the LEGOLAND Woodland Village, a new £35 million development which opened in 2024. This tranquil option allows visitors to relax and unwind in a cosy LEGO Woodland lodge or glamping barrels, plus campfire-inspired dining at The Clubhouse Restaurant and Bar.
The Woodland Village is also Merlin Entertainment’s first operationally carbon neutral accommodation in the world, according to LEGOLAND. Prices start at £84 per person for the Resort Hotel, £92 per person for the new Woodland Village and £106 for the Castle Hotel.
This is based on a family of four, with two adults and two children. As well as stay in one of the LEGO-themed hotels, a booking also includes a raft of ‘bricktastic benefits’, including early park access from 9.30am, a complimentary hot breakfast and family friendly evening entertainment.

LEGOLAND Windsor has racked up a 4-star rating on Tripadvisor after more than 3,400 reviews. One glowing review said: “Can’t recommend this hotel enough. Spotlessly clean, friendly helpful staff, great location. After a busy day at the park, I’d say stay here to relax and enjoy the atmosphere. We had the Pirate room and the lovely touches made this really special.”
Another said: “Best place, so much fun, very good for weekend out with family. So many activities for kids, they never get bored. And the woodland village accommodation is amazing, it takes you to a different world. The food is amazing, the staff is so friendly.”
A third happy customer said: “Amazing experience, worth the extra. We stayed one night before our day in the park. The experience exceeded my expectations. I knew the kids would love it, but we did too.
"Staying at the hotel really enhanced the whole day experience. Staff were exceptional. Very friendly, willing to help and just looked like they wanted us to have a good time. The pirate room was fantastic, all the little touches made the kids experience so much more special. Couldn't fault the cleanliness. Exceptional. My little one has allergies and this was managed brilliantly.”
However, the same visitor added: “Only downside, by staying in the hotel, they advise you can enter the park 30 minutes before the public. But only in a very limited area." Before continuing: "But overall, if you are thinking about doing it, do it. Special memories made.”
Alternatively, Alton Towers in Stoke-on-Trent, England is taking bookings for stays in 2025 at one of its themed hotels. A booking includes nine nine holes of crazy Extraordinary Golf and evening entertainment, with the option to add tickets to the Alton Towers Theme Park and Waterpark.
