Gardai launch urgent search appeal for Cavan teenager missing since before New Year
Gardaí have launched an urgent search appeal for a Cavan teenager who has been missing since before the New Year.
16-year-old James Kerrigan has been missing from his home in Ballyconnell, Cavan, since Monday, December 30.
James was last seen in Ashbourne, Co Meath, at approximately 3pm on Monday. James is described as being five foot two inches in height, with a slim build, brown hair and green eyes.

When last seen, James was wearing a black Zavetti Canada gilet, dark grey cargo pants, a grey half-zip tracksuit top, a black Nike neck warmer and black runners.
A Garda spokesperson said: “Gardaí are seeking the public's assistance in tracing the whereabouts of 16-year-old James Kerrigan, who is reported missing from his home in Ballyconnell, Cavan, since Monday.”
They added: “Anyone with any information on James’s whereabouts is asked to contact Ashbourne Garda Station on 01 801 0600, the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111, or any Garda Station.”
