Ex-supermodel dies in horrific carbon monoxide incident
Dayle Haddon, a former supermodel and actress, has tragically died from carbon monoxide poisoning after a believed heating unit malfunction.
The 76 year old, who also spent her career campaigning for accessible education for girls, died in Pennsylvania at her daughter's home. She was found in a second-floor bedroom of the detached suite she had been staying in.
Her daughter Ryan Haddon, who shares the home with Marc Blucas, posted a tribute to her mum and wrote: "The bright light that is Dayle has dimmed in this Earthly realm. Shining somewhere as radiantly as ever where it’s most needed, I have no doubt.
"She was a woman in her power, yet soft and attentive to all. Deeply creative and curious, gifted with beauty inside and out. Always kind and thoughtful. In conversation, she could go to the deepest of places and also soar the highest heights of spiritual understanding. She held so many up, saw their greatness sometimes hidden to them, and always built bridges with her own connections to help them ascend. She was everyone’s greatest champion. An inspiration to many.

"I always trust the timing of things. There are no accidents and certainly how we enter and exit this world is mystical and unknowable. She was a high-hearted spiritual being that put value on her soul’s evolution, so I know her journey here in this dimension must have been complete.
"I honor her. I bow to her. I revere all the paths and adventures taken. I saw her be golden and always reach for the Light in all areas of her life. Thank you everyone who was a part of her journey that helped to shape her, enrich her and activate her to become the absolute gem that she is. She loved so many.
"A pure heart. A rich inner life. Touching so many lives. A life well lived. Rest in Light, Mom."

Her followers took to the comments to share their condolences, with one writing: "She would have been the first to like this post and say that, as always, you found the perfect words to describe the indescribable. Her glow extended far beyond our visible sight and will leave lasting ripples for years to come. What joy she brought to this world and the lives of so many. Sending love to you and her." While another commented: "Dearest Ryan, I have written you a longer note that I will send privately but know that I am shaken to my core reading this. Sending you prayers for peace during this season of grief and ease as you navigate this new reality without her Earth-side . I am just so deeply sorry."
Cindy Crawford also paid tribute, writing with broken heart emojis: "Ryan—so sorry to hear this sad news."
