Gardai 'concerned for well-being' of man who went missing in Cork on Christmas Eve


Gardai have today requested the public's assistance in locating a man who has been reported missing in Co Cork.



Stephen Hogan, who is 50 years old, is missing from his home in the Hollyhill area of Cork since yesterday evening, Tuesday December 24.



When Stephen was last seen on Christmas Eve, he was wearing blue jeans, a navy hoodie and white runners.

Stephen has been described as being approximately 5 foot 10 inches in height and of a large build. He has grey hair and blue eyes.



Gardai, along with Stephen's family, have expressed concern for his well-being, and officers believe that he may be travelling in a grey Toyota Avensis 08C - registration car.



Gardai have issued an appeal for information, encouraging anyone who could assist with tracing the whereabouts of Stephen to make contact with authorities.



A spokesperson for An Garda Siochana said: "Anyone with information on Stephens’s whereabouts is asked to contact Gurranabraher Garda Station on 021 494 6200, the Garda Confidential Line at 1800 666 111, or any Garda Station."
