The Tipperary man won his first ever match at Ally Pally when defeating his friend and compatriot William O'Connor 3-1 in the opening round.

The match is on Sunday, 22 December. It is the last of four matches scheduled for an evening session that begins at 7pm.

Who is his opponent?
Slevin's opponent is Belgian no.11 seed Van den Bergh. The 30-year-old is an experienced player and has won nine senior PDC titles, including the World Matchplay and the UK Open, which he won this year when beating reigning world champion Luke Humphries in the final.
Van den Bergh's best performance in the World Championships came in 2023 when he lost to Michael van Gerwen in the semi-finals.
This will be the Belgian's first match of this year's World Championships.
