Less than 50% of companies in Bulgaria pay Christmas bonuses this year

This year, employers prefer to replace the 13th salary with Christmas events and bonuses. Less than 50% of companies in Bulgaria pay bonuses. Their size depends on the employee's performance, according to a survey by one of the leaders in the field of HR solutions in the country.

The findings are based on observations in more than 300 Bulgarian and international companies from the IT, outsourcing, telecommunications, finance, trade and manufacturing sectors, reported BNR - Radio Sofia. The global economic instability over the past year has also affected the Bulgarian market. According to the survey, employers are becoming much more cautious with their expenses.
