World's richest Formula One driver to inherit more than Lewis Hamilton and Michael Schumacher combined


Formula has grown into one of the world’s most watched sports with an abundance of wealth being consistently pumped into it.



The world’s richest Formula One driver might be a surprise to one as although Lewis Hamilton and Michael Schumacher have earned the most from the sport, there is another driver who is set to earn more than both stars combined.



Canadian driver Lance Strolovitch, better known as Lance Stroll, has amassed significant wealth since debuting in Formula One at the age of 18.

His net worth is estimated at $50 million (£39.5 million), according to CelebrityNetWorth.com.



However, the 26-year-old could see his bank account digits skyrocket if he is to inherit his family’s wealth one day.



His father Lawrence Stroll has a multi-billion pound fortune that could one day fall into his son’s that could see him become the wealthiest driver in the sport.



At 65, Lawrence has established a formidable business empire spanning the automotive and fashion industries. In early 2020, he took on the role of executive chairman of Aston Martin after spearheading a £182 million investment in the company.



As reported by Forbes, this investment also transformed his Formula One team, Racing Point, into the Aston Martin Team, bringing the iconic brand back to the pinnacle of track racing after a 60-year hiatus.



Lawrence is rumoured to have a net worth of $3.8billion (over £3billion).



German racer Schumacher is known for earning the most money in the sport although Ferrari successor Hamilton is beliueved to have a worth of £300 million, according to the Sunday Times Rich List.
