Ten-year prison sentence for rape and kidnapping case

A 52-year-old man has been sentenced to ten years in prison for the rape and kidnapping of a woman in 2022 in Famagusta.

The man was found guilty by the Famagusta court on Thursday of both rape and kidnapping with the intent to sexually assault the victim.

The incident occurred in July 2022 in Ayia Napa.
