Pierce Brosnan to star alongside Tom Hardy in new 'global crime series' from Guy Ritchie


Irish actor Pierce Brosnan has signed on to star alongside Tom Hardy and Helen Mirren in a new 'global crime series' from acclaimed filmmaker Guy Ritchie.



The currently untitled project is centred around two warring families based in London whose enterprises stretch all corners of the globe and the fiercely loyal “fixer” charged with protecting one of them at all costs.



According to The Hollywood Reporter, Navan native Brosnan will play Conrad Harrigan, the head of a successful Irish crime family based out of London, while Mirren will play Maeve Harrigan, Conrad’s wife and the Harrigan family matriarch.

Hardy, meanwhile, will star as Harry Da Souza, a professional conciliator on behalf of the Harrigan family.



In addition to his on-screen role, Hardy is signed on to executive produce the series alongside Ritchie and Irish screenwriter Ronan Bennett, who createD the hit crime drama Top Boy.



FIlming on the series is now underway in London, with the untitled show slated to debut in 2025 on Paramount+ with Showtime.
