Amanda Holden shows off her completely transformed home leaving fans blown away

Amanda Holden has stunned her fans by giving a tour of her newly renovated home.

The 53-year-old personality has built an impressive career - going from being a contestant on a TV dating show to becoming an actress and, more recently, a radio host and Britain's Got Talent judge. With her lucrative media career - and being married to talent manager Chris Hughes - the star has been able to splash out on a luxurious mansion to call home.

Taking to Instagram on Monday, Amanda gave fans a bit of a tour of her home - showing how she has transformed from an empty shell into a welcoming and warm family home. She shared the footage with a caption stating: "What a difference a year makes. Moved in a year ago today….and nearly finished the whole house,… what to do next!!! I love a project. More makeovers coming."

The clip began with Amanda unlocking her door and stepping inside, telling the camera: "Home sweet home!" as she then started jumping around enthusiastically. The camera panned around to show huge rooms, polished floors, and floor to ceiling windows - among other features.

Footage then cut to the way Amanda has decorated her home for the festive season with huge Christmas trees standing proudly in multiple rooms - including her extravagant entry hall. Artwork, furniture, and soft furnishings were also present in every room that she panned the camera across.

The luxury set up had her fans, friends and followers gasping - with WAG Lizzie Cundy among those reacting to the scenes to write: "Wow wow wow !" alongside a flame emoji. One follower wrote: "It looks absolutely amazing Amanda good for you." Another follower wrote: "Incredible place have closet envy." And a further one typed: "You've done well it looks amazing Mandy." And one fan joked: "Mine needs doing darling....."

From dating contestant, to actress, to TV judge - Amanda's latest career transformation seems to be set on interior design. TV fans will already know that she has recently wowed viewers with a makeover show that she co-hosts with Alan Carr where they did up a home in Italy.

She previously told The Mirror : "I am house proud, but I’ve got two kids, two dogs and a cat, so it’s a family house. Everything is washable and wipeable. It’s so open plan my littlest can cycle her bike around. I don’t have carpets on the ground floor – and this is disgusting – but I was doing an interview a while ago and my puppy pooed on the floor during the chat. But you don’t worry if you have wooden floors. Two words: wipe clean."

And asked if her kitchen is good for cooking in, she laughed: "Ooh, it’s for drinking in. We used to have a dining room, but we turned it into a bar because the kitchen is big enough to have a table and I’d rather have people in there talking to me while I’m cooking, and then a bar next door."

She added at the time, speaking of her old house: "I’m a huge Sex And The City fan and Chris did a Mr Big and turned a whole room into my wardrobe. Except, he didn’t leave a pair of Manolos at the end… but he arranged everything else! It’s something I’ve always dreamt of. There’s a remote-controlled mirror that goes up and down and lights up – it’s amazing!"
