Kelly Brook insists she's 'childless by choice' after traumatic miscarriage
Kelly Brook has spoken about the reason why she is childless and has said it is a subject that should be talked about among women.
The 44-year-old model and TV personality has said that she will not be trying for a family with husband Jeremy Parisi as she has suffered too many devastating miscarriages previously. While she was in a relationship with rugby star Thom Evans, Kelly miscarried in 2011 and 2012.
Speaking to The Sun, Kelly said: "I am actually childless by choice at the moment. It's not something that we have considered and I don't think that should be a taboo.
"I think it is a really brave thing to say as a woman. Sometimes I look back and wonder if it was ever what I really wanted? Maybe I was going along with it because it's expected. Because that's what everyone does."

Kelly added that she is enjoying her life at the moment but she has not ruled out adoption in the future. The TV star said: "I'm surrounded by a lot of families with kids and I see it brings people a lot of happiness, but I also see it brings people a lot of stress. Jeremy and I love to be around family we really do but we also love to travel and do our own thing."
Kelly said the experiences of miscarriages have been "devastating" and she has decided that she doesn't want to go through that again. She continued: "I have been through pregnancies and miscarriages and I know how traumatic and devastating they are on you and on your relationship. I have been down that road with previous partners and it is a lot. I look at the beautiful life we have and how we don't have the burden of that."
Kelly Brook has said being childless should not be taboo among women
Kelly said that since tying the knot in 2022 they "haven't tried for children," or "gone down the IVF route," and said that they are "all the more happier for it."
If Kelly was to become a mother, she feels that it would be a different experience to the one her mum had, who was 16 when she gave birth. Kelly said that she "never really had a motherly example," because of this but she has described her mum as "fantastic" but her experience of motherhood was different because she was a "very young mum".
Kelly added that this is something that she would find difficult to comprehend and said "It's hard for me to imagine it now because I am 44, I am not 17."
